Did anyone suggest trying to sell it to your local Toyota dealer? Dealers are short, and used vehilcle prices are up. They may want to have it on the lot for a leader or something. Worth a try.

    Nice truck by the way.

Sometimes its worth it to sacrifice now for the future. But if you only owe 10k, and you are paying $600 a month, you only have about 17 more payments until you own it outright. And you have a bike? Sell it. Put that toward the truck. Assuming its a sport bike (lets face it, I am profiling. a young guy, in the AF, who has a modded truck, and no wife/kids...:D), and you can get $4-5K out of it, you are down to about 8-10 months of payments, and then you free up $600 bucks a month...

Vs. signing up for another 60 months of payments.

(FWIW, I commute 90 miles to work. I know what its like...)

Then, if you decide you want a new bike (next year, after your truck is paid off), then you can make a decision to buy one.

UNLESS you plan on buying a car in the sub $15k range, and getting out of that debt all together. Then you save $600 a month in payments, and $250 a month in gas...

Then you should go that route.

No one did! That's a great idea. I will stop by the dealer and see if they are interested and what they would be willing to pay.

    Thanks!

Any options in keeping the truck and driving a $1000.00 car? I got a Hyuandi that has been very reliable and it was a steal... brand new breaks all the way around, new tires, new battery, new timing belt/water pump and it was safety/etested........

So keep your truck :) and never sell cause of a woman (sorry ladies)

There are three AUX outputs on this alarm... I hooked the first to the window modules (as you can see in the video) and I ran the second of the three down the truck in order to hook up to a solenoid, which was supposed to drop the tailgate. The solenoid wasn't strong enough, and I never got around to buying a new one. Wiring is ready to go, though...just need to buy a stronger solenoid and install inside tailgate. Have an ez-down installed on the tailgate so it lowers smoothly like a Tundra, and wouldn't slam when you hit the AUX#2 button on the remote.

Cool little feature to impress the ladies :D jk jk

I've got an image to maintain  haha! No, I just don't want two vehicles and am looking for something more luxurious on the inside. Dual climate control for the ladies, leather, a/c seats for hot ass summers in vegas, etc.

I had an 05 Accent GSI. I had it for almost four years, bought it with 20k on it. Sold it at 95k(May 09). The car never let me down. I also was anal about doing the maintenance on it, even though its a Hyundai. I hope that good people have it now, it was a great car.

Now I own a Taco!!!! It's an awesome truck!!

    nice looking truck.

customized cars/trucks are always hard to sell. you need to find the right buyer. once you do, you can get a good price for it. I am in the middle of selling a mustang with a few mods on it, and replacing that with a 2012 taco. i found a buyer but not after 3.5 months of getting hassled, low balled, head aches, "serious buyers" that dont show up, "if only i was looking for a car", "if only i had the money", people that just want to look at it, checking my ads/email all day long... i am meeting and delivering the car on monday, if everything goes to plan.

I tried the trade ins and the AutoTrader "guaranteed" trade in value. Total scam, they gave me a quote of $21,xxx took it in to the car dealer they listed and they couldn't even come close to that.

I don't know if you can part out the mods, but that would be your best bet. most buyers want a stock or close to stock car/truck. It will take some time, but you will find a buyer!! the right person will come along.
