*maybe it's not what they're called, but sites like Cargurus/ Kelly, and the like.

Q: what is the relationship between the unseen price offered versus what the check paid is?

are the offers 10 or 20% higher than you can actually get?

i had my truck appraised online with 4 or 5 of these sites, and the difference low to high was about 8,500$.

i would really like my next vehicle transaction to be as impersonal as possible!

    thanks

They are all unique but similar.

I've sold 1 vehicle to Carvana and was paid on the spot with no issues. I sold another to Vroom and they wired the money after receipt of the truck. I also sold one to a company in Texas that overpays for vehicles (they paid me $5,000 over MSRP for a F-150 Tremor, bananas. They also paid me on the spot and met me at the bank.

KBB ICO and the like are basically lead sources for dealerships, they will give you a number to buy at. However, it's subject to appraisal and most likely will be less than the offer spit out.
