My 4x4 are starting to rub off of my rear mud flaps, and I want to make them look "cleaner". Have any of you used SEM Trim Black spray paint on the flaps with success? Do I need to sand them first or just clean them? Adhesion promoter or just the SEM paint?

I've used this paint on some trim pieces in the past. The pieces were non moving though so I just cleaned and sprayed them.

    Thanks for the input!
