    That is one of the shittiest suspensions I've ever seen. When I was 10, I could get more air than that on my BMX bike.

    He's lucky it happened at low speed, on that gay little jump out in that field. Imagine if he had been on a crowded freeway going 70 mph and he hit a big dip or road obstruction. Lives would be in serious danger!

    For the record I did manage to catch some air and land successfully without breaking. :p

    On mine the break happened while driving on relatively level ground. The front passenger side hit a large boulder at speed (they were everywhere and unavoidable) and compressed the suspension until it bottomed out. The problem was that the wheel decided it wasn't done moving up and the piece I installed upside down gave way. Next time that part will hold and I'll have to find something else to break. ;)


    That Chevy just wasn't built right. ESPECIALLY on coil-sprung suspensions, those shock mounts need to be gusseted in a huge way. Hanging 2 1/4" tabs off an axle just doesn't cut it.
