SEMA wheels/285s clearance with JBA UCAs?

Currently running 265/70/17s on SEMA TRD wheels with a 2" coil lift and JBA UCAs. Someone on another forum told me the 285s will rub the JBAs with the SEMA wheels. I think clearance is ok on the truck body with this offset wheel, but I'm concerned about the UCA. Does anyone have firsthand experience with the SEMA wheel and JBAs with 285s? Thanks!

 

The Sema TRD wheels, I believe, are 0 or at least a positive offset. You will need a minimum of a -10 offset wheel or just put on some 1.25" Spidertrax you you will be all set for 285's. I have JBA UCA's with a 285 and with my -10 offset wheel it just barely doesn't rub.

 

Ok thanks! I might just stay with 265s for now and avoid the unnecessary headache of 285s.

 

SEMA wheels are 7" wide. 285/70-17 tires typically specify a permitted wheel width range of 7.5-9.0"
