    You may want to take that to a dealer and find exactly what it is - some of the 3rd gen saa colts are worth a little!

    BTW, be careful with the leather holster; leather holds humidity and can lead to pitting on the gun, as it did with my Llama...

    single action army or not. that gun is worth a pretty penny in todays market my advice would be to bring it to a reputable gunsmith and have it professionally cleaned. that way no further damage will occur. do not i repeat do not let him refinish it! but any good gunsmith will already know that.

    yeah it definately wont be refinished

    again...i dont particularly care what its worth...because its not for sale...

    as far as worrying about the leather holster

    this was the first time in probably 27 years it came out of the holster with no ill effects so it'll probably stay in the holster for now
