Has anyone ever encountered this? Went in the garage to add windshield washer to my wife's car and I heard a buzzing sound from under the box. It went on for a few minutes then stopped. Not sure how long it had been doing this. Was in the garage an hour earlier and never heard this sound. The taco in the fuel pump recall.

It does it almost every night. It’s part of the EVaP charcoal canister being regenerated. My Camry does it as well. It’s on a timer and I think runs four hours after the car is parked.

    totally normal.

Doesn't anybody read the owners manual? Put the phone down and read your manual.

I bet you're the kind of guy who enjoys shoulder-checking somebody who is walking down the street staring at their phone instead of looking where they're going.

Thanks for the replies, actually it was about 4 1/2 hours after I parked it. Never heard that sound before.
