Quick question is an oxygen sensor the same as an air fuel ratio sensor?

Bank 1 sensor 1, Bank 2 Sensor 1 are both A/F sensors, they actually read and modify how the engine is running. Both are upstream of the catalytic converter to read the true readings.

Bank 1 sensor 2, Bank2 Sensor 2 are both oxygen sensors, they confirm A/F sensors operation as well as monitor the catalytic converter. They are downstream from the converter.
