Aight .... OP has been updated!!! Please read through it, please!

Make sure you specify when you're going/leaving. We need an accurate head count for multiple different reasons.

I’m planning on the meeting the Saturday guys and I’m planning on camping with a Sunday morning departure. What radio frequency y’all running this go? I still have one of mine set to 160.365 from the last time I was up there.

I think frequency settings can be set up in that 30min gap at meeting location before departing for the TH. Different groups may want to use different frequencies.

Well.... I hate to be the debbie downer, but there is currently a restriction on fires for the area Gallagher Head Lake is in. :(

If you have a suggestion on another location that is not in a fire restriction, speak up! :)

Yeah, it's specifically the Okanogan-Wenatchee Natl Forest that's restricted. Kittitas county is good, snoqualmie mt baker is good.

The only thing I know for sure is that the combination of Gallagher Head Lake and the smoker is out. I have two other locations in mind, on is a little farther east and on an easier road, but I've got to make a phone call to confirm it. the other is forest service roads closer to Easton. Or we could drop the smoker idea. I'll make a couple phone calls tomorrow to confirm all this.

I’m in for the early Friday group. Just read the last few posts, must say that I would vote for two things: 1- fire 2- Jim to show up with his camp grill. Lol totally kidding about the grill. What I meant was y’all we be missing out if he wasn’t hauling the smoker. I am willing to pitch in sides , cold beverages, or cash for the cookout. My vote is to pick another location where we can have it all ! I’ll leave you with some of Jim’s skills:

As mentioned in my post, I’ll be on 27 (I don’t have HAM) and I’m leading the group from the coffee shop Saturday AM. We may decide to break the group up once at the trail head depending on size and will discuss communications at that point.

totally not to just volunteer @JimSnell , we could always run the trail, and do a after trail meetup at his place, or another location for grub and gathering?

Hmmm you drive a hard bargain. The radio ads make it sound like so much fun.... but I’m not really a people person.

Also Tacoma meet sound like fun, but I don’t have sliders or anything yet... still waiting for snellworks bolt ons
