Work is forcing me to stay late Friday, so ill be joining the Saturday crew. Depending on how many people run on Saturday we should split it up into two groups.

So, here's my update... Smoke is outlawed, because it's gonna burn the forest down. :bananadead:

There will still be good food.

    Any vegetarians planning to attend?

The authority's that be still have a fire ban in effect for the area that was decided upon. So, unfortunately @JimSnell will no longer be able to bring the smoker (propane grills only). And we won't be able to have a camp fire:pout:

I've got a propane grill that could probably fit 20+burgers that I could just strap down (not on) in the bed of my truck. That being said, we need to get some organization going on who will be bringing what food.... Thinking ribs, burgers, chicken, tofu, black bean patties, brawts, etc. (things that are ideal for grilling)

Our head count is roughly 20 at the moment, for those of y'all planning to attend, it's imperative that you post what kinda food you can bring to contribute to the end-of-summer-potluck. :)

I'd be cool with picking up all the meat type dishes if some cash got thrown my way. Chicken, ribs, and tri tips all come to mind.

I’ll chip in for meat. I can also bring utensils, paper plates, napkins, and cups if that is helpful.

I will chip in $ for meat. I got sunday breakfast covered. I'll bring the eggs, bacon, English muffins, hash. Originally thought eggs benny but 20 is a lot of people lol. Think I'll just scramble eggs, bacon, and some hash browns.

    About halfway done...
I'm going to change my departure time meeting at North Bend late Friday staying until Saturday evening.
Because I just ran the trail trying at night should up the difficulty and getting to use the fancy lights almost never happens.
I'll chip in for meat, bring chips, salad mix, dessert bites, drinks (non-alcoholic & beer) Tables and 10x10 canopy.
For the others going up Friday, what time/location are you planning on?

Tied several boat anchors to my truck to destroy MPG.
i would be interested in joining the sheep shagging/Fortune Creek traffic jam but my truck is still in the shop from hitting a deer up at WaPass. that lake and setting is awesome.

Dang. No fires then... Looks like 60'ish with a chance for rain on Saturday. Is there cover out there, or peeps bringing any pop-up canopies? Rentals look to be almost as much as just buying one. No campfires while it's raining would be a bummer.

If I do go, I'll bring cash with me and some extra trash bags. Could haul a few back with me when I leave.
