has anyone used a sequoia entune premium in their truck? it’s the exact size of the basic/plus head unit but has the actual gps maps/card.
it also would save from having to buy a 260 dollar trim panel.
the plugs on the back look identical.

i know all around it’s better to just go with an aftermarket, but i may have a deal popping up on one. Curious if it’s been done.

having a real gps map and not having to change out my trim was nice.
are their better ways to do it, yup. i wanted to keep mine as original as possible.

I'm guessing the TPM(tire pressure monitor) data is wrong as well?

actually, stuff like that all works fine.

i talked to infotainment, the guy was saying that the headunits take a number of hours or keycycles to fully inter grate and “catch up” or something like that. i hope he is right. the eco isn’t that big of a deal, but i like it haha.

so after a lot of testing, i’m going back to my entune plus and sending the sequoia unit back. there is something programes different in it that won’t allow it to communicate speed/mileage/distance.
    nav worked awesome.

so in short- if you find one cheap- it works...minus the eco button.
