All I can really add to this besides the obvious damage you'll have to do to get those wheels off and the expense of replacing the damaged pieces - a nice torque wrench would have been far less expensive.

Easyouts will do it. Get the largest size that you can but small enough to not hit the threads.

Edit: oh never mind- didnt realize the lower end of the nut was still on it.

SpiderTrax was even nice enough to send me a bottle with each set of spacers so I felt pretty ok using it.

I was gonna say the same. Spidertrax includes red loctite with their spacers. I used it on mine when installing them, and a month later had to remove one to change a wheel bearing. Came off with minimal fuss with an impact.

Hole saw was my original idea as well, but id see if they make any with reverse pitch so you can hammer it into the lug and then slowwlyyy reverse it. If not, best of luck with the normal ones. Also, not sure what kind of clearance you have in there, but you can always cut two arches from a socket to essentially make a two-toothed socket. then drill two holes into the broken lug at 0 degrees and 180 degrees, where the two teeth on the socket would fit and then sloowwwllyyy try and torque them off. Extraction of these suckers will have to be methodical IMO. Where you located?

They were actually very quiet. I thought they had just loosened. Until I finished backing them off and saw only half of the nut in my socket. :annoyed:

Two more ideas. First slightly better than the second.

    1) With a punch or phillips head, try and hammer a small divet into the aluminum of the spline lug (starter for drill bit). Then take a small drill bit (big enough to not break) and try to progressively create a larger bore on one location of the lug, by stepping up the drill bit diameters slowly. This is hopes that the lug with essentially break at one point, forming a "C" and then removal will be much easier.

    2) Put a high lift jack and a spare in your truck bed. Go wheeling somewhat hard. Profit.

Step 1 is my exact approach. I just have to go pick up some better bits today.
Step 2 is my second option. Only in my driveway so I am closer to home when it fails.
