I have nothing of value to offer, since you got the wheel off (Nice job!)..

But DAMN, WSP at the Rocks are awesome!

Saw them years ago there with Blues Traveler at the HORDE tour (Soul Hat, WSP, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Samples, Blues Traveler, etc) and a few times after that. GREAT live band, I'm officially jealous.

As a side note, yeah, years ago my old 4-runner was warping front brake rotors like crazy, and a mechanic friend of mine schooled me on using the torque wrench ALWAYS on wheel lugs. Never warped a rotor again FWIW.

For the guys that seem to be getting in on the whole "bitch" train. The OP and I have been friends for over 20yrs. He's the type of friend that would do anything in his power to help out his buddies. We have been doing the "bitch" thing longer than texts messages have been around. As Paul Harvey would say "Now you know the rest of the story"

Read that about 10 pages ago.

Ignore the guys that like to read the last chapter of the mystery first. They miss all the plot and subplots. Sometimes better than the whodoneit.

It's always good to have a reminder. I've been guilty of not reading all the posts myself.

Your ad for CL. Help recover some of your tool costs.

For sale: A set of lightly used (brand) set of x" spacers fitting all 6 lug Toyota Tacomas. Possibly other brands as well, your responsibility to confirm other fitments.

Racer blue anodizing. Need new studs for your wheels to mount on in a few positions on 1 spacer. Other 3 are flawless. Willing to include 18 splined (brand) lugnuts for $x more.

The Gorge is beautiful. Last year we went to see Tool, took us about 4 hours to get put of the parking lot. About 4x longer than the actual show. If you do ever go, make sure and camp

I would try a torque multiplier for the remaining lugs, something like this: http://r.ebay.com/KU82Hk

Lot's of power but very slow

Ok. So basically after I gave up on drilling I waited for my buddys to get to the house. I had one of them watch as I pulled out of the lot and back in the other entrance. I could feel the wheel shift but it was still tight. So I jacked it back up noticed more of a seam between what was left of the stud and nut. I was able to take a punch and spin the remnants of the nuts off the stud. I’ll take a picture of them when I get back home but you can see them in the shot of the spacer.

    Rides like a dream!
