Just tightened all the bolts and now when I turn the wheel back and forth I’m not getting any noise. I’m thinking it was possibly loose rack bolts now. I’m going to keep testing and checking stuff

    Hmm . . . none as yet, that's why i'm here . . .
If it was loose rack bolts ask yourself how/why did they become loose. That does not just happen!. Be safe.

yea, that steering column pinch bolt (i believe you can adjust it to center the steering wheel) looked pretty loose. you wouldn't be the first to develop play in that area.

If it were me I’d take it back in where you had the alignment done and tell them what happened after the alignment and I’m sure they’ll lift it up & check it out but I wouldn’t ignore it as it could be dangerous.

Okay because something that bothers me a lot is an intermediate vibration I get while driving 55+. It’s not a constant vibration it’s something I feel for 2 seconds then it goes away for 1. And it’s definitely worse when turning one direction vs another. Totally unrelated to the reason I made this thread though

I mean has someone jacked up the front end and verified the balljoints and bushings and such are still alive and well.
