Unfortunately today, I was one of the unlucky people that didn't get a set of stealth custom series ray 10 for my 2017 Tacoma. for some reason, it is easier to buy a gun in California than it is to get a set of these rims in 17inch mat bronze. so, I am moving on in life, and wondering if anyone has suggestions. I would deeply appreciate any input. looking for 17x8.5 6x139.7 with a -10mm offset, in either bronze, black or even a gunmetal color, that kinda looks like a ray 10. i'm not bitter, I'm just tired of the carrot being dangled in front of my face and never being able to grab it.

Dude I love my SCS Stealth 6's and Vin was a pleasure to work with but this is the one gripe I have with the way they handle business. They need to meet the demand for these Ray 10's. I was torn between the stealth 6's and the ray 10's from the beginning, and when I saw the shit show that went along with getting a set of Ray 10's I said to hell with that and picked up some gunmetal stealth 6's. To be honest I actually like them way better than the ray 10's now, and have had people tell me they look better than the ray 10's when they see them in person.

I think people on these forums hype the rays way too much. Not worth the hassle IMO

I went with these for the same reasons you posted. I have to wait for availability when other places really want to sell me the product they have in stock? For less money? No thanks.

Just get on freeman toyotas list for your ray 10's. Yes it will be a little longer but they will call you when they have them in stock(normally around when scs gets their shipments in) and it's that easy. This is so much better than "who has the fastest internet game" and you just sit back relax and wait for them to call you. Mine only took 3 weeks from time on the list till when they were in my hands. Worth a shot if these really are the rims you want. Otherwise..... vtx

I was in the same boat as you a while back. Then I decided to just wait it out and instead purchased a set of Fuel Vectors. Months later opportunity came knocking in and I managed to purchase a set of limited gold Ray10 from a private seller. I must say Ray10 are perfectly designed to be on a Tacoma.

Just get you some blemished rims. I got three at a discount and I've found a MINOR blemish on only one. Vin sent me a brand new SR8 as soon as they came in. Saved some money, rims look amazing. Very happy all around.

Since the rims got shuffled in the mounting process, I can't find the blemish anymore.

https://www.freemantoyota.com/ Make sure it's the one in Hurst, TX as there is also a dealer in California under the same name. Phone number is 8174799625

They seem to get enough of them to be a reliable source when selling them and I know they are not the only dealer that's gets some. Thus leaving very little off the scs website. I just want everyone to enjoy these great looking wheels, regardless of how you get them you won't be disappointed.

Call up https://www.toyotaofbellevue.com/ as they have usually a large stock of SCS wheels on hand. Glad I decided to go this way instead of the lottery system on SCS's release day.

There's a guy in classifieds that has a set of new black 16's for sale. He's near sac. I take it you're in ca. A road trip will get you a set. I'd snag them myself but the 16's look small. If they had 17's, I'd be on it. Trd pro's it is. Getting them on today.
