Rain the night before or night of would probably keep me from wheelin'. I'd still come, but I'd want to ride along with someone properly equipped (i.e. lift and MTs).

These Rugged Fails on stock suspension have no business anywhere near mud.

Just gives me an excuse to change all the filters when I get back :D
Still need to order that TRD CAI cleaning kit tho.

Also, where are we meeting up Friday night? Are we taking over one of the campgrounds down there or what? I need an address to GoogleMaps my way there.

pretty sure the interior of my truck got dirtier than the exterior during the fall run because of the dust.

Hey HODGE! Where the fuck are we meeting up?

A PM would be greatly appreciated.

BTW Larry, looking forward to seeing the work you've put into your SWB. You've done A LOT to that thing since March. I've hardly done shit to mine. Been spending too much money flying around the country to go climbing.

if you are coming down 109 heading south, you will see the eldorado outpost on the right and the road for yates place is like 2 miles past it on the right. there are signs directing you from there. if you need a bumer to call just in case, PM me and i'll give you mine. the reception does suck, so keep that in mind. if you get there when the people are still at the outpost, they can direct as well.

this is from the URE site....

    Location:
On SR 1146, 5 miles West of Troy, NC

    Access:

From Hwy 109 West of Troy, take SR 1147 and turn right on SR 1146. Yates Place is on the left.

Yea. Pretty sure i'm not gonna make it.
I just dont have enough gear (camping and recovery) and just don't know enough people to have to rely on to get me out of trouble if I find it. Maybe next time.

That and I might have to leave spur of the moment to go to indiana because of some issues with the folks.
    Bummed. :(

I think I have my basic camping gear covered. a few 24k straps, spare, hi-lift, converter.
Air, i'm a little concerned about. And naturally it being my DD and breaking something is a big concern.

you shouldnt have any issue w/ that. unless you go oober retarded on something, you shouldnt take any damage on the easy/moderate stuff.

most have at least small compressors to refill. i always bring my 3 gallon pancake compressor that will run off the bed outlet. most of us just drive back 1/2 mile on the main road back to the outpost to fill up.
