I was only making it 12 miles on a 15 minute charge when we left URE. But i killed my alternator early in the morning and wheeled all day and made it back to camp before it crapped out.

On the bright side its only $160 for a new one from autozone and it's 3 bolts and a belt to get it installed. Right under the oil filter and almost as easy to get to. And if it's not the tow package denso unit you can find someone to rewrap the broken alternator for high output. I broke the denso alternator and now I have an orange paperweight in my garage that eventually I will replace the brushes on. 14,000 miles and I've replaced most of the motor  Keepin my fingers crossed that I stand a chance of making it to 100,000.
