Hey it could be that they just look and see you already purchased a belt before why not
try to sell you another one. and then another one.
If you get used to seeing new belts getting put on without knowing what the interval should
be then all appears to be normal. You might even ask ( "Did you change my drive belt?" Yes
    we did - Ok Thanks ) :annoyed::facepalm:

When you say 3rd belt, are you counting the original belt?
Or the 3rd belt you have paid for to be put on?
It almost sounds like you’re getting the 30k mile “belt replacement” recommendation?
(Which there isn’t one on these truck that I know about)

If it is actually a bad belt, then “everything CAN NOT check out” ok.

Something is wrong. You need a second opinion, more competent mechanic, or better parts.

ive been through 8 belts because of constant squealing and cant find an issue. Replaced tensioner, pulleys,.. nothing has fixed it.. I just keep some baby powder in my door so when it starts squealing i dowse it. squeals every time it rains or if i drive through a puddle. I hate it

What brand belt are you buying? Some are better than others..... OEM and Gatorback are among the better ones.

I have read on some other forums that if you have antifreeze leak onto the pulleys and or belt
will cause a squeal. But your saying that changing the belts and pulleys has not fixed the problem.
When you say it squeals after going though a puddle or splash of water tells me the belt is too loose.
Check and make sure ALL the components the belt comes in contact with are in fact tightened to specs.
Alternator, AC compressor, Power steering pump. Idlers, Etc. Not just the pulleys !

Pulley alignment and antifreeze would be the 2 main causes of a belt squeak. Has the truck ever had apower steering pump put on it? The power steering pulley is pressed on and if it's not in the correct location it can cause an alignment issue.

I maintain an ice resurfacing machine the has a GM 350 powering it, uses SERP belt water pump, alternator crank, tensioner. Have replaced the belt multiple times, replaced tensioner multiple times, used shorter than required belt (PITA to install) and still constant chirping.
The cause, the crank pulley is so worn the multiple V on the belt don’t ride on the sides lie, they are supposed to, the face of the belt bottoms in the grooves causing the slip. Machine has 14k hours on it (equivalent to 400k+ miles) if they replace the engine, I will replace the pulley (they don’t want to spend the money right now)
