Asc gold extended warranty


I have been reading about it online
And some stated they have a hard time getting back thier money
Giving them the run around

Has anyone here ever get their money back from that extended warranty?
I have never used my extended warranty

And some say 90 days before the warranty expires file a claim

 

Ok i called servco

And the lady said on the phone
I need a copy of my registration and asc gold coverage
Odometer and send it to the mainland
But i need to give them a call(dealer first)
After the extended warranty has expired
I have 60 days to file a claim

 

U can get your money back if you don't use the extended warranty!?

 

Some are like that. I work at a Lexus dealer and finance used to sell one of those. The extended warranty company still exists but the middle man who made the promise of the money back is out of business. Obviously, in that case, nobody gets the money back so just keep that in mind

 

I feel like I shouldn't have bought my extended warranty. Lol.

 

when i traded in my reg cab for my access cab i got a pro rated claim or whatever back for my extended warranty and gap insurance. but when the warranty expires you dont get it back...

back in 04 when my dad got his tundra they said if you dont use the extended warranty youll get the full amount back. they did away with that now days tho

 

i got my money back in 2013. surprised i never used any warranty on my corolla. actually never been to the dealer since i bought it

 

Depending on verbiage in the document, you may have a window period to get full refund or partial refund based on time or mileage.
These are nothing more than insurance policies, akin to the "coverage" offered by car rental companies.
I have received pro-rated refunds on trade ins, as well as full refunds within the specified parameters
All of these policies are worded different, so should be read before buying.

 

According to the lady i have talked to on the phone
I have 30 days to file a claim right after my extended warranty expires

 

A few years ago I got a refund for my 05 Tacoma but had to show oil change receipts. I think Servco was in mediation with the company and did away with the receipts. It did take a couple of months to receive the refund.

I lost out on our Prius refund because we missed the time cutoff by a few weeks. We had been watching the mileage and just blew it on the time portion. Tried everything but no one would budge.

Watch your TIME and MILEAGE and read your agreement and make sure all your paperwork is in order. Send it in with a signature required to be safe. Servco at Mapunapuna will walk you through it and check your paperwork. Also you can call that location and ask for the warranties department and they will answer any of your questions.

Servco and/or the company no longer offer refundable warranties because there were so many unsatisfied customers (like me).

 

Ill go down there before it expires since i bought my truck from them
