so ive been trying to get out and service my tuck for some time now, due to work and school havent had time. wondering if at 42000 miles and no new tranny fluid, or front/rear diff. fluid if its still safe to change it out. I know that after some time that gears and such get used to the viscosity of the warn oil, and want to make sure that it wont damage anything. I have a 4l V6 6-spd and also curious what your taco nuts recomend for front/rear fluid and tranny fluid.

    thanks

Tranny fluid is good for 100,000 miles.

Not on the manual tranny :)

OP, change all the fluids as soon as you can. No harm can be done from changing them out.

Mobil 1 75-90. If you have a limited slip diff in the rear, I recomend regular dyno oil 75-90 or 80-90 with 4 to 8 ozs of LS Diff addative.
