I ran alto 90% of the time in 2wd open, only used 4wd to do the harder lines because it was wet.

Tested out the water and found it was a little too chilly for showers. as for the restrooms the guys never have a problem with that (go figure) but plenty of hiding spots for the ladies. Low wind speed kept sand from getting in places it shouldn't be :)

Shit. Sounds like a lot of planning. What else is there in Alto aside from off roading? Is it like an Austin where there is a night scene. Just asking..

Nah don't think there is anything going on there. Just a small town

There's usually entertainment around the campfire at night

Not really to much planning, set a date then everybody decideds when they're going to show up and go from there. Meets are easy to plan.

Typical response from mall crawler kids. I can see how packing a few extra clothes and a cooler full of your favorite kiddie drinks sounds like a lot of planning.

Alto is a small country town. The closest thing to the "night scene" is in Lufkin or Nacogdoches where SFA is located and there's more of your type of crowd to hang out with. Considering we normally camp out in tents instead of hotels, we have our own night scene around a campfire until we pass out. :drunk:

Let's just all go to Mudland...it's kid friendly so it should be more suitable for you and the other youngsters.
