Setting up a Houston Meet

Since no one is carrying about the game. Does anyone knownif there is traffic during mardi GRAS?? It starts on the first of feb. Traffic would defiantly kill my mood for a convoy.

 

Probably but I would think that it won't be that bad durring the day.

 

Would still suck trying to reroute and take 288 to Bryan from hooters

 

The Parades are at 12 and 6 that day and might be able to get there duing the gap between them.

 

Oh!! Can we have a buddy system just incase someone gets lost?

 

The plan is to take 45, to galveston, cross the roll then go to bryan. No 288 needed. Unless 288 is what youre going to take to get to hooters.

We probably should. We should all get each others numbers at hooters.

 

Well no need to worry about the game anymore. We did well. We didnt get slaughtered and left with dignity. I'm happy with that.

 

The best part about the Super Bowl is usually the commercials anyway. The boys did good this year but a few more years of playing well and they will stand a better chance of making it to the final round. Was shocked as hell to see Kubiak let them go for a touch down instead of kicking a field goal like he has a tendency to do and even more surprised he took a chance on a 2 pt conversion instead of the extra point. Still proud of the Texans though.

 

So, now that this date is getting closer. Who is bringing what? Or who is camping, who is going home?

Imcoming, no camping for me, always have beer!!

 

I'll be there. Camping depends on whether, but plan on doing some fishing and bringing a few pieces firewood (figure we can use what's already done there as there is plenty of it down by the river's edge.)

 

I take it back! I might be able to make it. I remembered I have s bday and wedding after that. I might be able to do the convoy and hang out for a bit. Not sure if it's going to be worth the drive.

 

I'll be there, not camping. I can bring some firewood and beer too...and any last minute items

I don't know how your weather is down there, but we've been 30-degrees and hail here. Probably won't camp
