Well if everyone is on the same page about the traffic I am perfectly fine with meeting at hooters, and then going 288 to Lake Jackson. Its less scenic, but at least we can convoy without stopping.

I agree. I'm coming from Heights area, so it would definitely be faster for me to just take 288 down. But if we were all meeting at Hooters off Nasa, it looked like 45-2004-288 would have been the best route (which included backtracking...)

Have a suggestion where to meet off 288, and rough time? I'll probably bring my great dane with me, so not stopping for lunch would work out better for me anyway. That said...is anyone terrified of dogs??

That's not a dog! It's a horse! Lol I love dogs! I can bring my sons Yorkie! If your horse doesn't try to use him as a snack.

Anyways few places on 288 is bass pro off beltway. Or 288 and 518 park and ride. Both are right off 288. Think we can sit there till the hooter crew comes our way. If they decide to come this way. If not we can drive down ourselves

For people going down 45 it would be quicker to 45 - 2004 - 523

Bring the horse with you! If I can get out of work quick enough, I'll be stopping by to pick up my dog on the way there as well.
