    I just had my truck repaired and I believe they set the alignment to stock specs. It's a lot harder to turn the wheel and it seems like the wheel doesn't wanna return to straight after turning. It also drove home last night on my muddy road since its been raining, and every time I'd hit a little patch of muddy water, it wanted to pull excessively into it, almost spinning out. I'm also getting a little bit more rubbing than I had before. seems like the tires are sitting back in the wheel well a tad more, I've got new rub marks. I was hoping that getting this adjusted would help the rubbing as well as now with the hard steering. The rubbing isn't really bad at full lock going forward unless it articulates a ton. But it rubs pretty good in reverse not even at full lock now. Getting tired of people staring as I back out of parking spots, lol.

    I don't fully understand the whole alignment process but am learning. I didn't really have a problem till now after I got my truck repaired and the alignment was redone. It is my opinion that everything on the truck is good and has nothing to do with the repairs that were done. I'm thinking that it's a case of incorrect caster or camber as they put it to stock specs. I'm running about 3" lift. And I remember the instructions stating to adjust the caster/camber, can't remember which, or both maybe, a few degrees to help with correcting the alignment with the uca's.

    Any help is appreciated. I'm hoping there's an easy answer for this, and someone can suggest what setting to go for so I can tell the techs when I go in for an alignment soon.

    Try to get your caster pushed up to 2*

    Cool thx. Figured it was something like that. Hopefully that'll fix everything. I've gotta weld on some alignment cam tabs on one side, as the other side was done for me. So I'll be doing that, replacing some bushings, then go for an alignment. I'll report back with a pic of the alignment sheet they give me.

    Alrighty truck is all finished up. List of repairs done regarding suspension/steering;
    Cam tab gussets welded on
    New passenger LCA
    New moog bushings in driver LCA
    New driver LBJ (passenger is about a year or two old,same as tie rod end)
    New driver tie rod end
    New passenger cam plates/bolts

    I went in for an alignment and was in-and-out in like 30 min.s. I assumed it was gonna take a while for them to figure out what all was wrong and needed adjusted, but it seems like I did something right because it all went smoothly at alignment shop, Everything was disassembled for the welding as well as bushings. I aligned the cam plates/bolts myself on the driver side. Guess the only thing off was toe. Obviously since I just guessed, so I could get it down to alignment shop. The caster looks to already be at 2 degrees or so. So idk if I am able to adjust it any further to help with rubbing or not. Steering is back to normal. Still not sure what caused it to be so tight after I got it back from collision center. I put her on the lift when I got home and took the wheels off, and bashed the shit outta the pinch welds again. So there's VERY little rubbing now in reverse. I'll have to drive it more to tell. Think it may just be on the very bottom of the fender flare. But all seems good so far! She's pulling to the right just a hair. So I may go in for a final adjustment one day.

    Here's a printout of the alignment. Someone check it and tell me how she looks?

    Bump. Anyone take a look and tell me how she looks? ^^^
    Also, I think I finally understand how caster is adjusted. By rotating the cam plates in opposite directions. Big O told me that they only adjusted camber. And that to adjust caster that would be through the shock/strut or some bullshit I can't remember what they said. But I think it's pretty much maxed out already. At least the back cam is... So if I adjusted the front cam inward, I assume it would bring the wheel forward a bit. But will that also affect the camber? Or just move it forward? Obviously the toe would have to be corrected too.

    I think big o just kinda blew me off because its a bitch to adjust those cam plates and they probly just didn't wanna take the time to do it. So if I can go in with what I want and tell them, then perhaps they can get it done. But I'm also afraid that if I adjust the caster any more, that it'll affect my handling considerably. I'm think at this point I should leave it how it is and just trim my fender flare a tad more. I think that's the only place it's rubbing now on one side. Haven't tested it offroading yet at different articulation.
