i have two different radio units put in my 2018 trd off road because they randomly turn off while I am driving listening to music using Bluetooth while on the phone. Also when I fill the truck up the mileage to empty is never right. It says somewhere between 298 and 309 miles to empty and get from 360-380 miles out a tank. That’s not as big of an issue as the radio but just something that annoys me. Has anyone else experienced these problems?

Mileage remaining is just an estimation and is usually off with most manufacturers. Do you have an iPhone? I believe there was a TSB on a compatibility problem between iPhone and the head unit.

I wouldn't really be calling these minor problems "several electrical problems".

Yes I have an iPhone. Is there a way to fix the compatibility issue?
I know the mileage thing isn’t a big deal, it was just more of an annoyance than anything.

Check with the dealer, I believe there is a software update. I updated my '18 because it was available but I wasn't having any issues and I think it was for the iphone problem. I use an Android.

I just pick up a 2019 and there was a update upon linking my iPhone. No issues, but I only have a couple hundred on it from drive home.

If it's any consolation, my Kia has a good grasp on distance to empty... its usually within 20 miles... 500+miles a tank! Sure beats 330!

I'm using Bluetooth and an iPhone and haven't had any issues. Sounds more like a short in the wiring, check the pins in the plug. Maybe one is loose

Miles to empty is only down to your reserve. There are a few other threads around on this. When mine hits empty there is a little over three gallons left in tank. Pretty much standard on most vehicles though th amount varies. My silverado has a 26 gallon tank and light comes on when it has used up 22 of those 26 gallons. Can't help you on the radio part.
