Several killed in Arizona bus crash

CNN) -- Several people were killed when a passenger bus crashed on an Arizona interstate early Friday, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
The wreck occurred south of Phoenix at milepost 173 on I-10 and blocked both westbound lanes of traffic, according to the department, which had no estimate for when the lanes would reopen.
The department did not say how many people were killed, only that there had been "multiple" fatalities.
Jonathan Jacobs of the Phoenix Fire Department told CNN affiliate KNXV that five people are dead, but CNN could not independently confirm that figure.
The tour bus could be seen in a dirt area just off the roadway with extensive damage and debris scattered around it.
Injured passengers were gathered on an orange tarp in the road before being loaded onto ambulances and helicopters.

 

Looks like it was a pretty nasty crash....Hope folks make it out alright.
