We got our asses handed to us. Just got a report from one of our day shift workers. Road I normally take is drifting severely. Looks like I'm gonna have to take the long way home via the class "a" roads. At least those will be steadily plowed.

Woke up this morning to 3 inches of snow and ice balls raining from the sky. Switched over to rain shortly after that, and by the time I got to work and plowed a path for the people with cars it was 3 inches of slush. Plowing it was weird; the snow was so saturated it was almost melting as you pushed it, so by the time you got to the end of a run it was more like pushing a bow wave than plowing snow.

This has been a pretty severe winter here, probably close to a record for least snow in a season. I think we're at like 6" for the entire winter.

Just cold, gray, and terrible, typical Ohio.

Yeah. Here too. Pretty lame for snow this year.

I'm looking forward to it. Although there's been severe weather a lot throughout this winter . Interesting what El Niño brought.

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect until 3 AM PST Monday morning.

    * Winds... areas of southwest to west winds to 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph. Isolated gusts to 70mph. Strongest winds will be along desert slopes and foothills.

I saw this weather report and took my family into the mountains and camped right in the wind storm. Epic night to remember. By morning all tent stakes were ripped out and tent tipped over at 6:30. We all laughed hysterically, packed up and 4WD back to pavement to air up, hit the casino restaurant for a hot pancake breakfast before driving 45 mins to home.

Speaking of the hail, it seems in the great state of okie-homie, spring has sprung. I've been watching storms build and move in from Tejas all night. The local yocals are calling for some nasty projectile ice chunks. I'm going to go hide at my shop and wait for it to pass over. Wife's 4runner and my cutlass rule the garage. Welcome to spring in the midwest. Yall keep ur head down this week
