So, I was scheduled to conduct fish surveys from midnight to noon today in the East River off of Astoria, Queens; postponed for 24 hours and I'm now sitting out the blizzard in a motel room in Queens. In my bathroom is this setup:american-specialties-74022-toilet-paper-dispenser.jpg

I’ve always wondered why 2?? :notsure:

    A. the motel figures guests are too stupid to change the spindle

    B. the motel worries that snooty guests might be put out if they have to change the spindle themselves

    C. the motel is concerned that hyper type A personalities who are also ambidextrous might want to engage in rapid, double-handed butt wiping as to not delay their schedules

    D. the motel is concerned that a diarrhea-plagued couple or family might inhabit the room

    E. the motel worries that Siamese twins might have the urge to go concurrently

    F. facilitates some kind of kinky activity that I’m not aware of

    Desperately seeking enlightenment,

I got a whole lot of nothing from this storm! So bummed about it. I knew I wasn't going to get the big numbers but was hoping for something. Damn it!

I'm jelouse we didn't get much of any this year. I hear a rumor (I'll hold my breath) we may get some snow around the 23rd.

Probably just jump right into tornados.

Topped out at 13 inches, mostly sleet. We will see what the wind does tonight. Looks like the snow was north of 80, not 78 like predicted.

15 inches before this afternoon's sleet. Then back to snow.
Temps are falling big time so the slush is now a block of ice.
We're on the back edge of it now, but the wind has been cranking up in the last couple hours.

I used to have to drive a semi through stuff like that! Believe me, I don't miss it at all! Been cold here in Southern Kentucky with light snow flurries, but that was all.
