In a subdivision between Belcher and 19, Nursery to the S and Harn through the middle. It's only 6 acres, but nice separation from neighbors. And fishable. If you follow detailed maps, it's actually one of the feed waters to Allen's creek. Which can be a problem if big rain comes at high tide and the lake can't drain fast enough.

I grew up in St Pete on N side, went to Northeast High.

Lived on 66th A/S, just a few blocks N of Pinellas Point Dr for a few years when first married in the 70's. My folks moved to the condos by the old ferry landing at the E end of Pinellas Point Dr. after they retired.

At 180 mph it's only 10 mph from becoming the most powerful hurricane ever. The top spot is at 190 mph.

I know right where you are talking about. We rented a house on Burnice Drive when we first moved to Clearwater, and I watched that subdivision being built from the old Harn Cattle ranch...then lived on Campus Dr. My house on Pinellas Pt. was 1/2 mile from those Condos, just w. of 9th st.

The spring that fed the creek that ran through that ranch is about 40' off my dock. :D

The creek/wet area was broadened into the lake for water management. I wouldn't eat out of it or swim in it, but it is nice to live on.

lol I know I was not serious...

though a house that can withstand being submersed... not a bad idea for those flood prone areas

As of now I cannot. I need to lock down the house and care for the animals. I also have college but I think they are cancelling it as we speak. If I leave it would have to be later in the week a couple days before it is confirmed to touch down at cat 4 or 5

Wonder if I should restock on water, gas, and beer. In case it decides to roll west.

Couldn't hurt. It's NOT like they can spoil if you don't use them immediately...

Our local brewery was pretty awesome. Gave us free water from the tanks. And a local bar was giving out free ice from their hyuge ice machine.
