Still no power ... at Chick-fil-A reloading the batteries from their outlet ...

Northern burb of ATL ... many trees down here ... really feel sorry for the folks in FL

We have only been without power for 36 hours ... might be a couple more days because of the trees

 

I thought you were in fl but Ga damn you around the Gwinnett area?

Gwinnett border is 1.6 miles to the east of me ... close

 

That might explain why I have yet to hear from some folks up,in thta area

 

My electricity just came back on (after 36 hours) .... but some in this area will be out power for a few more days.

 

It's horrible when you see one side of the street have power, and the other side without it. Especially when it's for a few days, even a week.

Where as ours was 99% fecal material.

 

Home safe and sound. House is fine and power is on. First pic is my largest problem. The rest are from around town. We are pretty lucky.

Good god, just returned home (East Orlando) to find this mess. Thank god the buildings were spared, but I've got a lot of cleaning up to do! Glad I took the camper and hightailed it to Thomasville, Alabama with the family & mother. Was lucky enough to find a generator and a few spare gas cans, which helped me make it home as gas was super hard to find.
Just set up camp and converted the well pump motor to 110v, so we're riding it out off the grid for a while.
I'll tell you what, a 17 hour drive with a 6 month old, 3 year old, your wife and 71 year old mother, all crammed into a DCSB Tacoma towing a 4,000 lb camper in nuts traffic sure makes you glad to get home.
