I got a wild idea for all the people that need to run to the store before the storm...
Why don't you keep a months worth of food in the house?

There are always plenty of canned goods and other frozen food in the house. The real questions is how was the line at the Liquor store? It would be a real catastrophe if you ran out of beer! ...or maybe that is just a Wisconsin thing...

    Bring it. :D
The biggest problem is going to be the wind; 60mph gusts and this snow is going to be light and fluffy because it'll stay cold, so it's going have more drifting than a Fast & Furious film.
But, I've got a full tank of fuel in the plow truck, jerry cans for the generator, and the racks for the wood stoves are full.

Edit- I've got a full liquor cabinet & beer fridge too, haha!

It's been raining almost nonstop for the last few days. Current temp is 40 with a windchill of 29. Nowhere near as bad as what the northeast is seeing, but definitely uncharacteristic for Florida...

Right. I got a little dusting this morning. We still have 3-4" from last snow a few days ago. It's just not enough to really play in. Winds are picking up here too.

I'm living vicariously through Reed Timmer's Facebook live posts. He's currently in Salem, MA. Goes live when there's blizzard like conditions.

True. But he seemed to always have the balls to drive into the craziest shit. LOL. So I can respect that. Either he's dumb or has no fear, I like it. He's always getting a decent shot of whatever is going on. Sean Casey always seemed to have something to complain about, so I found him a little annoying at times. I did dig his movie Tornado Alley which I saw in IMAX. It was pretty sweet.

Any of you who don’t want the snow and cold can send it up here. More snow would be nice, but I need some good -20° or colder stretches to finish freezing up the rivers. This winter sucks so far.

That's true too. I like that he did that. But what's that saying? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I wish he would if taken that route on the show more instead of complaining about Reed. He really should have tried to work with Reed more and he probably would have got more shots. I found Josh Wurman crazy annoying. Always acted better than everyone. But seemed to suck at getting Sean in the right place! LOL.
