dry as a popcorn fart............like 14% of normal snow pack here.........

My drive home tonight. For those of you not from the snow belt, that's not fog, it's blowing snow.

Warm here right now 20 Degrees

 

Lived in Southern Ct all my life and never seen it get this cold.
It bottomed out at -14 this morning.

well its official, hottest place on earth yesterday was here in Oz. 117f in your talk. Bloody hot in our talk. No air con so was a quiet day.

 

Morning Humans! Having a heat wave here the next couple of days. Supposed to be 45 and rainy on Thursday, which means people's roofs are going to start collapsing.

Shrug. Jut a realist, lol. Right now a lot of people have 3 feet of really light fluffy snow on their roofs. Since it's so light, most people haven't shoveled it off. So right now they have what is basically a 3 foot sponge on top of their roofs. Depending on how much rain we get, that snow load will get very heavy, very fast.

 

So this is the sever weather thread. Looks like we might get a couple inches of rain here in so cal please pray for us we might need relief and recovery

That's the flip side of severe weather here. Today we rise to almost freezing, then drop back down to -23C tonight. When the city is built on an ancient dried lake bed & it's all clay, the ground moves 'n shifts like a scene out of "Tremors". Anticipating major water main breaks impending.
