I just saw that too. 200 mph winds with gust up to 245 mph at 880 mb. Praying for those in the path of this beast.

Just read about this H'cane. I'm thinking that ground zero is going to be demolished.

They're saying that the devistation will be equivalent to an F5 tornado the size of the hurricane. I'd be getting the hell out of there.

After this storm, maps will have to be updated. This will literally change the geography of the coast where it hits.

Yeah, no offense to Mexico because I'm sure the people there effected will not be having a good time in the next few days and I hope they all make it out okay, but if a superstorm like Patricia hits the USA this year... yikes...

Sounds like it fizzled out shortly after landfall.

Yeah. Guess that's a good thing. I was hoping the only thing it wiped off the map was all the cartels.

The remants of Patricia and all that rain is in Texas and headed right to my front door.

I'm building a new home and just finished the roof shingles yesterday.

    The leak test begins tonight/tomorrow.

But the brick layer could use a couple days to finish. He could probably be close to finish today, but the subdivision doesn't allow work on Sunday.
    Shabbat Shalom.

I think the northerly atmospheric flow will push it a little farther north of you. You may get some rain but the bulk of it will be headed north.

most of the county roads are flooded over here where I'm at.

This was yesterday around lunch time.

    It's still raining right now.
