I imagine it's to reinforce the stock hangers so they hold up to high-speed abuse when running the Defined SUA.

i dont get what you are trying to get at

they were designed to address a weak point in the tacomas frame. they werent made with any particular activity in mind . weather you cruise, rock crawl, haul , drive at high speed in the desert the cross brace will benefit by increasing rigidity at a point of failure that is becoming more and more pronounced with the 2nd gen tacomas.

You obviously saw a failure and came up with a design to fix it for that condition....no?

What trail condition damaged the shackle mounts that cause you to design it (it's initial intent)?

Looks like a strong solution to a problem I have yet to see so I'm curious about it's history and concept.

when you have long flipped shackles, the mounts can flex, and if you dont have hard bushings like delrin bushings, then the shackle may even touch the frame. This may be a good product to get to prevent that.

Maybe you should read the comments you quoted and argued with again, those were pulled straight from Mikes page, or maybe you just dont get it

I'm running it on my truck, from an engineering stand point it's good insurance to something that I could see happening very easily
