    Hello all!

As I ask questions it will become apparent that I know "Jack Squat" (say it in your head like Chris Farley) about trucks. That being said I am going to ask my first stupid question.

Can shackles be put on the front end of my Tacoma for purely looks and not functionality. I love the way they look just dont anticipate needing them to be functional.

Just use drywall screws and screw them to the plastic bumper.

Anyone you'd actually want to impress would know enough to not be impressed and probably more sad for you than anything.

I'm thinking they'd make a badass set of garage ramps, but for 4wds only.

It is pretty fucking cool to not have to get out my ramps to work under the Taco.

Probably got it from a crane or the tool trailer in an oil refinery. Everyone I work with sneaks out a big shackle from the jobsite when they get a chance.

I can't complain much as I have a nice set of 40yr old Proto tools that my father snuck out of the coal mine.

Not a fan of "looks like a thing but doesn't do anything" so I'll say that if you are going to the trouble of setting this up, why not just build a working system? I've never left them on any vehicle I've had because people take things and the clack while daily driving is annoying.

I think you're going to be a bit embarrassed if you find yourself needing a recovery point and have to explain how "it's not a real one".

You can add this one, but it might not be the exact look you're going for. But at least it would be function and relatively affordable.

800 dollars or 800 lbs? I kid, I kid... But that seems like a lot of bumper for only $800.

Added the headlight hoops after purchasing. The center hoop was already there.
