    I was saying this months ago and everyone kept saying I was crazy. They all told me dealers pay the invoice price, they aren't paying any less than that.

    I kept saying it and no one believed it

    You're not crazy, You are right. Dealer's actual cost for a vehicle is unknown and likely REAL cost to MSRP around 14% plus holdback. The Invoice we see on Edmunds and other shopping sites is around 7% or less to MSRP. Dealers CAN sell at Invoice and make great money based on numbers sold. They give their best deals to their loyal customers. Why shouldn't they?

    Higher profits on pickup trucks due to the cheap bed and sheet metal behind the cab. And much higher profits on well equipped top models.

    Not just west coast, east coast too. They want MSRP or entice you with $500 over invoice but then offer you shit for your trade, when I mean shit I mean $24000 for a 2015 4WD Sport DCLB with lift and tires. Give it a year or so things will level out, like someone else mentioned, too many people are willing to pay MSRP and all the dealers know that.
