@Tacomagirl2 is the truck a 4X2 or a 4X4? All I've read in your posts is that your truck is a Sport.

did you get an alignment? did you put new tires on? when i put a 3 inch lift and 33s on i had to have my tires road force balanced as they wobbled at 80-100kph , once they were road force balanced zero issues..

    My truck is a 4x4.
From what I have been reading online, it appears I need UCAs. Can anyone recommend one. I'm looking at the one from Tuff Country.
Also here is a picture of my truck with lift and new tires.

I've had the exact same problem. It was a tire out of balance. I don't think you shouldn't need UCAs.

Did you also install the diff drop kit?

I did not install a diff drop kit. Honestly don't know what that is.
Today was the first time taking it out on the hwy and when I got above 55mph, it was all over the road.

Unfortunately if you lift a Taco over 2 inches, it can add up pretty quick, as you're finding out you're going to need new UCA'S in order to get a decent alignment. That's most likely the cause of your problem as lifts under 2 inches usually have no problems with alignment on stock UCAs.

Another issue you might have is a worn needle bearing. This is usually diagnosed as a vibration in the truck in 2wd but goes away in 4HI. After you get the alignment sorted and if you still have vibes, check to see if you have the symptoms of a worn needle bearing. If you do the best correction would be to have it replaced with an ECGS bushing.

If you were all over the road UCAs should help cure the wander with more caster. I'm running SPC UCAs they're fully adjustable
Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road is very knowledgeable and can probably help you out with your needs

More toe-in you say? How much more? I'm on 265s with a ~1" lift up front (Kings) and when I got my alignment it showed lots of toe-out (-0.13* or so both sides) before and they put it at 0.04* and 0.06* which is just within spec on the low side. High side of oem spec is like 0.14*. Do I need more toe-in? If so why?

It rides pretty damn good as is. Better than stock I'd even say. It did at first seem to wander on the interstate but it feels normal now. I think the steering just became a little lighter but it's easy to keep in a straight line.

To OP...the shake is from non perfect balancing. I'd bet lots of coin on it. Get them road force balanced some where and it should help. Or you may find one or multiple of them are out of spec and impossible to fully balance.

    Did some research myself...
This seems to coincide directly with what I felt. I probably had more toe-in with the oem suspension and now I'm closer to 0 toe so steering is more responsive.

Do you only recommend more to toe-in to combat wandering or is there more to it?

Rebalancing tires is a lot cheaper than UCAs, go ahead and try that first. Then see if they can get you a better alignment and this time try and have them get you the values so you can post here for review. If still causing a problem, do the needle bearing check. If vibrating in both 2 and 4WD then get the UCAs. If only vibrating in 2wd get the ECGS bushing installed.

Wow. Lots of things to try. But I really appreciate the help. I'm going to give some of these things a try over the weekend. I'll let you know how it goes thanks again.

Alignment is a static measurement. Your wheels toe-out underway because of positive scrub.
Our trucks might have 0.25" of positive scrub radius; probably less. If you increase it with spacers, or wide-negative offset wheels, there is a lot more tire on the outside of the SAI. Think of it as your "side-to-side caster".
If you give me your model #, tire size and full wheel dimensions, I'd be happy to shoot you a number within factory spec.

I'm not sure about the model number.

The wheels are Micky Thompson classic Baja lock
    17x9 (6 x 5.5)
    Offset -12mm
    Backspacing 4 1/2 inches

Tires are General Grabbers AT2 265/70/r17

Your front end geometry (not only alignment) is all messed up now. You may want to take it to a very reputable shop to correct it.

Dude, Do the simplest things first before you start chasing your tail. Put your front wheels in the rear and start there to see if it's a balance or wheel issue.$.02

I have the same tires and running 2.5" lift with UCAs, had shitloads of vibration at highway speeds and had it balanced with a regular machine without helping. Then had it road force balanced and it cured all issues

Rollin904, I have been reading the reviews on these tires and a lot of people are saying they need to be road balanced. Now I just need to find a place in my little town who can do it.
