yah i air down from 40-35psi i may need to go lower.. and it happens when the wheels just start to lose traction then i let of and get back on it then it smooths ( with wheels still spining) and then itll hop agian...keep in mind im not flooring it im easy on the gas...i also tried climbing this sandy hill in 4hi, i got momentum and just when i get to the top itll hop real bad..

Sounds like you may have too much air. 35 sounds high for onroad use too.

The wheel hop would be your suspension flexing under load as your tires try/fight for traction.

Why the hell would air pressure have ANYTHING to do with wheel hop. Someone please enlighten me.

Something is fighting itself in the drivetrain if you ask me. I was out in some deep sand awhile back in 4HI, I don't let air out of my tires, never have. Never had any of your symptoms. Something sounds messed or maybe you're not describing it accurately.

Do you have a traction control system like VSC on? Could it be fighting because not all tires have traction?
