Shaking when braking at high sp

    Glad you got it fixed, I just fixed the same issue. Im going through a set each year now. The truck felt like it was going to come apart. Replaced rotors and brake pads, all good now.

    I know this post is old but I would like to add to it. I replaced brake pads and had the rotors turned. Once everything was placed back on the truck, I got a really bad vibration while braking. Replaced rotors with brand new ones and that solves that problem immediately. Hope this helps.

    @Marshall R said: Another way is to get up to speed and hit the brakes hard, just short of locking up or causing the ABS to kick in. Do this several times to get the brakes hot,this will help eliminate some of the build up on the rotors.
    Just did this after living with shaky brakes. Worked like a charm.
