Thanks to @tcBob for making this thread possible!

Post up your 3D Print (.stl) files to share with other TacomaWorld folks!

I'll start. These files are for an adapter to use the Magsafe charger instead of the Qi charger in your 3rd gen tacoma. It covers up the Qi charger.

This design was requested by fellow TW member @In2Ndo in a separate thread.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/anyone-custom-3d-print.782192/page-11#post-28052263

@Trail Limo and @GBourne were very helpful doing test prints and recommending changes for a good fit.

These are the V5 files. RR has a cable egress hole in the right rear corner of the adapter. FR has the hole in the front right corner.

The Solidworks files (.sldprt) are also attached if you want to make tweaks to the design.

    Happy printing!

Thanks for making this - have you thought about uploading to a site such as Thingiverse? Those typically get a lot of traffic! I’d like to try this out with a PLA, but we’ll see…

Yeah I like Thingiverse.com. I've got a couple designs on there. A set of mini dominoes, a slide top box. Simple stuff.

I'm locked out of my OG account there and want to get that fixed before I upload there again. Oh, yeah Makerbot sucks too and they own Thingiverse.

I am willing to custom print anything that will fit on my build plate. My printer is resin, so near injection molding quality, but slightly less strength than FDM prints.

Mebbe you can recoup the resin cost of perfecting this design! :fingerscrossed:

Could you make one of these and how much would you want for it. QI charging is useless and this would be perfect. I already have wireless carplay so just a pad to charge is all I need
