How many miles? Do you have lots of hills? Hills KILL my mpg. I watch my scangauge drop to 10mpg or less going up hills. Luckily my new work commute is mostly flat with one hill I have to go up and over each day so the down slope helps even things out.

I also NEVER saw the est. 20mpg until I put the AFE Pro Dry in after almost 2 yrs of ownership. Well, I saw it ONCE on a 200 mile trip, but not for the entire tank. Now I get 20mpg for the whole tank according to the scangauge. I also have around 49k on the odometer.

there is some hills around but they are small. i have a k&n filter. everything else is stock. and i have 12k on the odometer. i tried driving without ac as much as i can the best i got was 18.2 mixed highway and city and driving like a grampa. i was actually pretty happy to see that compared to my other 15 and 16 mpg readings.

Accelerate slower, air the tires to 35psi, coast and draft. I get 22 mpg gramp style and 20+ driving ok.

I have 3" lift with 285/70/17's Mud terrains and a manual transmission. I get 15 and below mpg.

Edit: I also just aired up my tires to 50 PSI, recommended is 65 but i think that's way to much. We'll see what i get next tank.
