    Why is that stupid shark fin even necessary ? I'm sure a new convertible would have satellite w/o having the shark fin..

    Before I bought my 2015 TRD Sport I was indifferent about the satellite shark fin, but after clipping my garage door when I was backing in and I don't even use the XM anyways so I'm over it.
    I had to hire my door ding guy to drop the back half of my headliner so we could tighten it, and I had to use silicone to keep the water out since it doesn't quite sit level anymore (it was actually worse than I thought when I removed it).
    Now I find that I'm a little jealous when I see the older trucks that don't even have that stupid thing.
