shark fin problem

Hello,
I just bought (2 days ago) 2022 crew cab sr5 I am having problems with the stock radio. I get very weak radio reception I unplugged the shark fin and nothing changed no stronger or weaker. My question is can the shark fin be tested? I dont know if I have a bad fin or a cut wire in the dash.
