Haha yeah dude save for the AlienBees you won't be disappointed. Me and my buddy have the 1600, 800, and a couple of small White Lightnings (forgot the wattage) for our business. We've also got the ringlight :)

Another reason why Tacomas rock is the plug in the back :D. We've done some shoots off the beaten path but had a full setup. Sure it takes the strobes a bit longer to cycle but I'll wait a few extra seconds per shot if we can get a fully lit setup :) Admittedly we do also have a couple power packs cause we got sick of waiting around LMAO!!!

    Great shots Sir!

what a trip this was...EPIC for sure, something that i won't ever forget..

Jose (J4RR) completed the run open/open..meaning, he only had an LSD rear. superb driving skills he has! only thing on his truck that got banged up was his rear dive shaft that got candy caned from a HUGE rock..but still drivable by all means.

Eric in the black FJ broke his rear ring and pinion gears going up one of the gnarliest inclines on the trail. if it wasn't for his experience he may have tipped over and rolled down. after he got to the top..err, as close to the top as possible of that incline, had some help from 2 older FJ's that had broken down at that very same spot. he disconnected the rear drive shaft, threw that sucker into 4low and continued on under his own power in front 2wd as much as he possibly could manage. on the climbs and getting over the obstacles he was connected to dtrujillo63, brandonh, or to my truck daisy-chained style. mad props to eric for his skills as well.

it's incredible that none of us had any kind of body damage from snaking through the trail going in between pine trees where there would literally be an inch or two on either side of the cab of the truck...especially at night, when connected to two other rigs negotiating over huge rocks and boulders.

the whole group stepped up to help each other out, rather it be spotting over some obstacle, setting up a winch line, strap, or stacking rocks. whatever it took or needed, it got done with a whole lot of enthusiasm and lots of joking and laughing around ..try doing this in the dark..with half dead flash lights, a broken FJ, and mosquitoes from HELL..good job everyone!!!
