Thought I should start a thread for the truck I picked up a couple weeks ago. Found this beaut online in Grass Valley California and had her shipped to Ohio, something I told myself I would not do but this trucked pulled me in. The Midwest is also terrible for finding vehicles that are not rust buckets. Turning this vehicle into an adventure rig with my sights set on Central America.

    Details when purchased
    -102k miles
    -level kit
    -31" BF Goodrich All Terrain
    -Pro comp rims
    -smittybilt nerf bars
    -moon roof
    -tonneau cover

So far I have taken of the nerf bars and tonneau (for sale in central Ohio if anyone is in need hahaha!)

Also put a lock on the tailgate and built some storage for the back (ordered a cap from ARE to cover it as I plan on sleeping in the back, $$$$ tag about gave me a heart attack).

Storage is three pieces (originally built as one and then cut into three- poor planning, decision making, and second guessing- don't ask!!!!) but looks seamless.

Also working on some simple storage for the cab

Ordering sliders for the rig today from 4xinnovations and have back suspension on the way from AllProOffroad.

Will updated will all my plans here later as I am typing this on my phone while bored at work.

One more note, trick is going into a trusted mechanic for a check up next week. All seems good so far so fingers are crossed. I am not incredibly mechanically inclined (yet), but will need to learn some more. Luckily I have some car minded friends to help for now.

    Cheers to going broke!!!

Would prefer not to ship. Will let you know if I cannot get rid of them locally.
