Thank you. The screens were a $75.00 option when I ordered the topper. They are attached with self tapping screws. Well worth the money to keep my dogs from clawing the screens and tearing them up.

I dig the setup OP! Drawers under the platform will be my next project. Yours looks simple yet functional. I'll try for something similar.

    Here's my current setup:

Is it just me of is the color way off on the shell? It looks a lot darker than the truck.

You both correct. The color is off. My truck is more of a reddish/orange color, and the topper is more burgundy than red. But, this doesn't present an unlivable condition. I was rather pissed about it at first, but I can deal with it. It's just a place to keep me and my dog dry and safe during a major storm when we're camping. We camp in all kinds of weather, unless it's just downright dangerous conditions.

Sorry I didn't mean to shit on the thread, I was on my phone and thought maybe it was just because of that. It still looks great and I like the drawers, I may steal that idea when I find a shell.

I really like the power outlet you have back there. You said it came from the dealer at install? Can you share a little more info on that piece?

The dealer kept me waiting for a very long time. My install was supposed be at 10 am, but he put me on the schedule for 3 pm. He threw in the outlet as a freebie. I would think that any topper sales facility could install one for you. I think the original price for it and installation was $75.00, but luckily for me it was at no cost. It is wired hot all the time, so the truck doesn't need to be running for the outlets to work. I can charge my cell phone, Go Pro, and other cameras and accessories from the outlets. Works great and I highly recommend getting one. Thank you.

Thanks for the update, I will be calling the place that installed my Leer in the morning to see if they carry or can order one.
