Put the reg on before the inflator and add a ziptie to hold the inflator open. Let it slide so that you can disengage the inflator.

Yes, it does. Before my newer storage box, I could get everything in the Viair bag.

I guess I should have bought that 250 foot spool lol

I can make some if anyone wants one. It’ll give me something to do

I enjoy DIY, but I don’t always get around to it. And that means I’m without little things like these I want sometimes. I do have 50’ of the flexzilla though.....wish that lined up with my ambition.

It's just the wiring/crimping/clamping action that I, and perhaps others, feel is at a higher threshold since you need to get the right tools and all.

Version 1 anyone can do. It’s super simple. Basically just wrap with a couple layers of teflon tape and screw them together.

It might sound stupid, but that little wire clamp tool almost gets me excited enough to pull off good clamps just to swap.

Beyond that, I use this inflator for easy pressure checks on all the vehicles. Saves time with those sweet chucks.

It's a new, functional toy. The first time you air down on the trail, well . . .

I agree, v1 looks simple enough. I was referring to v2.

    Don't overthink it!

These little wire clamps are holding back about 200psi. There's really nothing that I would consider critical.

If you don't like the wire clamps, grab the oetiker tool.

It is definitely something that you wouldn't want to be using for units that you would ship out unless you have all day to be going at it.

Still, they're solid even with baling wire.

At first I thought those were wire cutters based on the side profile. Pretty neat things. Between the CLT03 clamp tool and the Oetiker system, which would you say is a better investment/more likely to see use around the house/taco/life?

Yeah, I've been eyeing all the worm clamps on my keg fridge. They need to go.

I borrowed oetiker clamps in the past, but bought the wire clamp tool. I love the thing and it works on anything. You never need the right size of anything.

    That's my take.

The only reason that I would jump on an oetiker is for speed.
