FYI - just taking a look at the parts list, all added to an Amazon shopping cart. The price is about $159 for the v2, and that is not including the fancy roll-your-own hose clamps tool. That's about double what people are saying this may take to make. You could knock $10 off by getting 25' v 50' of flexilla.

Feedback welcome if I am missing something.

 

Prices definitely vary over time (and like most things they’ve gone up lately). You can also get a lot of the flexzilla and connector parts cheaper at a place like menards vs Amazon but I added the Amazon links for ease of purchase.

 

Gotcha, @Shellshock. Definitely thinking hard about making it just for the satisfaction. Thanks for contributing, lots of fans of your design.

 

So I was following this thread and I think 2 months ago when TW went haywire for me it unfollowed me from so many threads.

Also I think I'm the only STL guy not running some variation of this

I need to do some rearranging in the engine bay and get mine mounted under the hood.

 

They do get a little toasty under there

 

I'll figure out something. could put it behind a 'Ebay CAI' style sheet of metal.

Yeah, but the amount of dust kicked up back there wouldn't be ideal.

 

Oh, I could mount it in the tool box, but then I'd need to run wiring to it.

 

Just mount it under the passenger seat
