Put a couple hundred miles on that sucker yesterday, a nice long drive around town and then the wife and I road tripped to Big Grove in Solon

Right when I first pulled out of the driveway 1st felt different, better. Couple little hiccups like I was told right at first, then she's been rock solid. We are big fans of the happy hour at Big Grove (BOGO 3-6pm 7 days/week if you don't know!) and I've made that drive at least a dozen times - yesterday was the first time ever I've used 6th gear and cruise at the same time.

It's crazy there was all of this driveability already under the hood the whole time - I would really be curious about the difference for the people with the automatic because the difference is HUGE, even when I've always had control over what gear I'm in.

Throttle blip downshifts again, who would've thunk it!!!

This OVT is good stuff! Really thankful we have a knowledgeable person willing to make this install painless for us "non tech" types!

that’s awesome to hear. Very frustrated I couldn’t make it yesterday.

 

I've got an AT and got tuned over a week ago and got about 50 miles on it since . When I'm accelerating out of a round-a-bout or after making a turn, the truck sometimes still wants to up shift instead of down shifting. It's annoying as hell but it doesn't do it nearly as often as it did pre tune. Shellshock said to give the tune 500 miles, might take me awhile to get there lol. Other than that, the other 99% of the time I've been very pleased with it and would highly recommend.

 

After getting tuned yesterday the wife and I logged in a couple hundred miles...All I can say is that the truck actually gets out of its own way now. I haven’t done any aggressive acceleration yet, but the drivability while just cruising/hwy passing is night and day.
