What did everyone use to put the weather strip back on? 3m or adhesive?

Nothing. If you measure it , cut to fit after you install the rack you won't need adhevise. Nice and snug and ever had any issues. Going on almost one year of owning my GT rack

Met and spoke to the Sherpa folks at Overland East - I'm sold on their product(s), and will be buying their rack for my Leer cap.

I posted this in the other roof rack thread as well, but I just installed my Grand Teton and went and snapped a couple of pics yesterday. Installation was a breeze with the video they have. I did it myself, so it was a little tricky with the fairing. I had to bungee cord it on one side to prop it up while installing it, but no problems otherwise. The rubber mounting bases are awesome and I didn't use any silicone. Also the clearance with the sharkfin is much better than the OEM rack I had on there before.

Nice! I'm thinking about one rack for the cab, and also one for on top of the Leer truck cap I have on the bed of the long bed as well.

That's the Roof Rack I want to buy...I'm gonna have to wait, unfortunately.

In the meantime, I will look forward to buying it some time later.

Anyone install the Sherpa "Crow's Nest" on an RSI Smartcap? Wondering how level the Grand Teton would be with the Crow's Nest in this type of application since the Smartcap sits a bit taller than standard caps.

    A whole lot
We have done a few! The main issue with these toppers is the gull-wing doors. You have to run a 43" crossbar setup which is 5" skinnier than the cab rack to clear the doors. As far as height goes, with the adjustable feet, it is usually no problem getting the two racks to line up. We have only installed it on the Evo Sport.

I just purchased/installed OEM LED Headlights....this add-on/upgrade is gonna get pushed back.

This one and the Diamondback Tonneau cover are way down the line now...

I'll still be jealous of you guys getting this Roof Rack.

Anyone got tips for angling the light bar correctly? I get a lot of hood glare unless it's pointed way to the sky
